What is a Sit-On-Top Kayak? Sit-On-Top kayaks feature an open cockpit, which makes entering and exiting the kayak easier, even in open water. The paddlers sits on the top deck with minimal constraints.
All Emotion Kayaks’ Sit-On-Top models are self-bailing. Water that enters the cockpit drains out through scupper holes - tubes that run from the cockpit and tank well to the bottom of the hull. The hulls are sealed making them practically unsinkable. Even if the kayak capsizes, it is easily reentered and you are on your way.
Sit-On-Top kayaks also allow you more freedom of movement, even standing. All of our models are equipped with bungee deck rigging, tank wells or hatches to provide plenty of storage for all of your gear. We offer tandem (2 person) and single (1 person) and single Fishing Kayaks for rent. Each Kayak comes with paddles, life jackets and are USCG equipped. The Fishing Kayak comes with 8' Stick It Anchor Pin and 7' Lanyard with Float.
For a Limited time only All 1/2 day rental of the Fishing Kayaks will come with free rental of one Okuma spinning combo (rod and reel) with line at no charge.
Kayak Rentals are by the hour, 1/2 day (4 hours), full day (8 hours). We open at 8am and close 5pm, special arrangement for early or later pick up can be made.

Tour #1 is a 1/2 day tour form Pleasant Hill road launch site down Shingle Creek to Makinson's Island and back up Shingle Creek to launch site. $55 per person includes single Kayak rental. $35 per person for tandem kayaks includes rental. Bring your own kayak $30 per person.
Kayak Tour #2:
Tour #2 is a 1/2 day tour leaving boat ramp at Saint Cloud City ramp over to Lake Runnymead and back to Launch site. $55 per person includes single Kayak rental. $35 per person for tandem kayaks includes rental. Bring your own kayak $30 per person.

Kayak Training: Classes
From beginning to advanced lessons, practical courses with small classes and experienced instructors. Our unique teaching methods speed up the learning curve so you become a better, safer paddlers in less time. For training you can't get anywhere else. Intro to Kayaking class a 4 hour class. $65 per person includes kayak rental.
